PLANNING BOARD 14EETING
April 14, 1941
A rep,:tlar meeting of the Planning Board was held in
the Town Office Building at 7:30 P. 11. on April 14th.
All members were rresent.
P.1r. Diego Grosso and his counsel, D. J. O'Connell,
appeared before the Board requesting that Grosso be
allowed to build a small house on his lot of land, off
Woburn Street. Vis request had been refused by the
Building Inspector because the approaching; driveway was
only 30 feet in width.

A letter was read from the Board of Survey re-
questing an opinion as to the construction for its entire Cedar -
length of Cedarwood Terrace. The owner partitioned to wood
construct only far enough to permit access to the rear Terrace
lots to which it leads and to be only 15 feet in width.
The Board's opinion on these two cases was expressed
in letters to the Board of Survey.
I,1r. Ellis reported relative to the Medical Center
at 'Ninchester, sayinj that five doctors, three of whom Medical
have Boston offices, use the property. They employ one Center
nurse and another sleeps there to answer telephone calls
at nicht.
A request was read from the Needham Planning* Board
for a copy of our by-laws relative to apartments. Mr.
Nickerson was asked to supply the information.
A letter was read from Charles W. Ryder in which he Ryder
proposed that the town buy all his Waltham Street property. Offer
The matter was not discussed but taken under advisement.
The Board of Public Norks in Arlington wrote a letter
in which it stated that Arlington does not intend to deed Great
or grant easement rights in the Great Iv.eadowsf property. Meadows
The Board adjourned to meet in conjunction with the
Appropriation Committee for discussion of the budget plan Budget

The meeting adjourned at 10:25 P. M. The next
meeting will be held Monday, April 28th, at 7:30 P. M.
