PLANNING BOARD MEETING
DECEMBER 4th, 1939.
A meeting of the Planning Board was held on Dec. 4th,
19399 at 7:30 P.M. Messrs. Ferguson, Worthen and Nickerson
were present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and
approved.
Mr. Worthen reported that Mr. Fletcher. Taft had been "For Sales

Mr. Eugene Viano advised us that he will present his Viano

At 8:30 P.M. the Chamber of Commerce representatives
met the Board in answer to our invitation for the purpose
of discussing possible solutions to traffic and parking Traffic
problems near the center. Messrs. Johnson, Couette and . and
Custance represented the Chamber of Commerce, the first two parking
as chairmen of a particular Committee to study these
problems and the Chairman of the real estate committee
respectively.

ing a proposed street from Waltham Street to Muzzey Street,
from Muzzey Street to Clarke Street, No. Hancock Street to
Merriam St., Merriam Street to Grant Street, Grant Street
to Woburn Street and one from Mass. Ave. crossing Vine Brook
Road and curving down to Waltham Street just beyond the
Catholic Clubhouse. The subject matter of most of all of
these has been studied by this and previous planning boards
and we encouraged the Chamber of Commerce representatives
to prepare further data in this regard and consult with us
again Monday, December 18 at 8 P. M.
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.M.
