' NOVEMBER 20, 1939.
A meeting of the Planning Board was held in the Town
Office Building at 7t30 P.M. All members were present.
except Mr. Kimball.
Mr. Wrightington wrote the Planning Board saying 'that
the Attorney General has refused to accept the townts accept- R.3
ance of the R.3 zone until such a zone shall have been def ined.apartment
The Town can either make the required definition or pass a house
new vote including such definition in the vote. The Clerk zone*
was instructed by the Board to tell Mr. Wrightington that the
Board favored the scheme of presenting a definition of an
R.3 zone to the next town meeting for a vote.
Mr. Aruda has requested from the Board of Appeals, a
permit to increase oil storage at his property adjoining the
Aruda
Lexington Inn at 329 Mass. Avenue, to 30,000 gallons. A
property -
hearing was held November 20, at 8 P.M. in this regard and
Mass. Ave.
the Clerk was instructed to register the fact that the
Planning Board is opposed to the permit because v&en Mr.
Aruda requested a change from R.1 to C.1 for his property
several years ago, he claimed that he would not increase the
storage capacity of his tanks.

Mr. Worthen was instructed to engage someone to wbtain_

lists of properties for sale from our real estate offices.

The data obtained is to be then transferred onto a town map
property,
for the Board's use. The total expenditure shall not exceed
$30.00.
The Clerk was asked to write Mr. Kimball to see if he Budget
has any project in mind For which the Board would require
funds during the next month and to see if he had any suggestions
relating to the proposed map showing properties for sale,
and furthermore to see if Mr. Kimball had anything in mind
which would affect our 1940 budget request.
The Chamber of Commerce is invited to meet the Planning
Board at 8:15 P.M. December 4th.
The next meeting will be December 4th at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M.
