APRIL 24, 1939.
A meeting of the Planning Board was held on Monday,
April 24th, at 7:45 P. M. Messrs. Greeley, Kimball, Fer-
guson and Nickerson were present.
The petition of Eugene Viano for a zone change to C.1
for his property known as the Valentine estate was discussed
and the Clerk was directed to notify Mr. Viano to contact
the nearby property owners on
(1) Vine Brook Road complete
(2) Sherburne Road complete
(3) Winthrop Road from Mass. Ave. to Sherburne Rd.
(4) Waltham Street from Vine Brook Road to Forest
Street
and to present Form B to us with the approval of 50% of the
above property valuation, whereupon we would advertise for
a hearing.
A possible R.3 zoning for apartment houses was pres-
ented in complete form by Messrs. Greeley and Kimball, this
form being substantially that worked out by previous boards.
The material was discussed in detail, as brought to date, and
it was voted to hold a hearing on the subject Thursday, May
18 at 8:00 P. M. after the proper advertisements. The Clerk
was directed to notify the Chairmen of the Selectmen, Approp-
riation Committee, Assessors and Precinct Committee of
Twelve of the Planning Board's intention, it being our
opinion that these were the interested parties to be notified
under Section 17.

It was voted that Mr. Greeley be instructed to tell Mr.
Cosgrove, Town Engineer, to append his construction reg- Sub-divis-
ulations to the subdivision regulations which we wdrked out ion Regs.
