HomeMy WebLinkAbout1935-11-21MEETING OF PLANNING BOARD
Thursday November 21,1935
Present: Messrs Duffy, Ellis, Kimball, Robinson, Sellers.
Also Mr. Greeley on invitation.
Dues to the Mass. Federation of Planning Boards were
presented and approved for $15.00.
Routine
The Board files were briefly discussed and Mr. Kimball
is to review the requirements and make recommendations.
The plan for a Board of Survey layout for Nellie K.
Dalrymple property at 148 Hill St., as drawn by the
Engineering Department and submitted by the Board of
Selectmen appeared to serve the property satisfactorily,
and except for alignment on the southerly end, met Layouts
with general agreement. It was felt that the point
should be reviewed together with the possible extension
of the street into adjoining property. It was voted
to approve the tentative plans, suggesting such further
development.
Reports by Mr. Greeley indicate that Thr. Comey of the
State Planning Board is actively interested in the pro-
posed Circumferential Highway and after a protracted
study of the tentative layouts as now prepared, it was Circum -
agreed that the Board would make a field inspection ferential
for crossings at the important points. A joint meet- Highway
ing with the Waltham Board will be arranged for the
future to discuss the location and side control of
this highway and action will then be taken to lay
the recommendation of the Board before the Selectmen
and the State Planning Board.
