July 23, 1936
A meeting of the rlanning 3oard was held in the Town
Office Building on July 23, 1935, at 7:30 P. 'r ., with Supt.
of public 710rk-s Trask and Town Engineer Cosgrove.mill
members of the Board were present.
The proposed Circumferential Highs, -ray, State Route
#-2-8y was discussed, pra.marily as regards its layout through
Lexington. lar. Cosgrove had prepared a plan showing the
State's pronosal, as well as his suggested alternatives.
The suggested alignment was also shown on the Airplane
Photoes of the Town.
After some study and discussion, it was suggested
that the Clerk write the Board of Selectmen to the effect
that the Planning Board suggests cooperative study of the
locc,tion and the la -ring out by the two Boards of a suggested
alignment through the Town. After such a plan is prepared
the Board feels that it should be recommended to State
officials, and. its existence made known to Senator Cotton
and Representatives Hollis and Gott.

TIr. Kimball brought to the meeting copies of the parking
Traffic Census Report which were signed by all members of
the Board after brief discussion.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P. Tt.
