Cosgrove and Scheibe.
Th: nuestion o" the future development of Vine Brooknorth of
11
..lass. Ave, was discussed and `.r. Cosgrove was instructed to
work o -,_t some further details regarding the acquiring of sait-
able land and -,-)robable cost as to development in the event of
putting ' a rolad on one or both sides.
Consideracle time was ".,iven to the discussion of reviving the
project if *Connell and Custanee for the granting of a change
in zoning on the land on 71oburn St, near the r4ilroad. This
project seems to hale some sli -ht merit over tfte previous pro-
position, but the Pro-posal to brink; the b,,zsiness buildings to the
street line in violation o t'he biilding regulation, which e^118
for a 20 ft. set -back, did not meet with the !hoard's approval.
The question of utilizing this land for a fire station was taken
up, as it-,ould ay -)pea -r it would nake better accommodations for
our ^ire Pe-oart :ent and confine that side of ''ass. Ave. more
strictly to community activities than if it were to be turned
into a filling station and allied interests.
The cu stion of takin` over the Pussell property for additional
room fo- the high school and possibly future b,zildinf was left
in the hands of the committee who are to report at the next
Manning 3oard meeting.
The nevi develoo-n-, nt plan of C. doss florash as submitted by fir.
