Plannin.; 'oard
Those preset were hessrs. Th ery, Glynn, Duffy, ^utler, Milne ,
Cosgrove and Scheibe.
Th euestion o" the future development of Vine Brooknorth of
Mass . Ave. was dis ussed and M`.r. Sosgiove was instructed to
work ot some further details regarding the acquiring of suit-
able land and probable cost as to development in the event of
putting a road on one or both sides .
Consideracle time was iven to the discussion of reviving the
project c f -00oniell and ^.zstance for the granting of a change
in zoning on the land on "Toburn St. near the railroad. This
project seems to ha,-e some slight merit over t?'e previous pro-
position, but the prorposal to bring the business bgildings to the
street line in violation of the b ilding regulation, which calls
for a "0 ft . set-back, did not meet with the !oard' s ap ro al .
The question of utilizing this land for a fire station was taken
up, as it would appear it would Lake better accommodations for
our 'ire D partr:ent and confine that side of i_ass. Ave. more
strictly to community activities than if it were to be turned

n
into a fillip,- station and allied interests.
The cu-stion of taking over the 'ussell property for additional
room fo - t e high school and possibly future bnildin~ was left
in t.._ e hands of the committee who are to report at the next
