The Board instructed the clerk to gather together any in-
formation pertaining to the Budgets for the various clinics,
and also a complete list of the duties of the Executive Health
Officer and the Clerk before the Board meets with t he appropria-
tion committee.

SPECIAL MEETING - BOARD OF HEALTH
NOVEMBER 28, 1960
A special meeting of the Board of Health was held at the
Battle Green Inn Restaurant at 12:00 noon on November 28, 1960.
Members present were Mr. R.L. McQuillan, Chairman, Dr. William
Cosgrove and Health Officer, Mark D. Lurvey.
Mr. Nickerson, State Health Department Sanitary Engineer,
met with the Board to discuss the problem of odors coming from
the brook at Summer and Lowell Streets in Lexington. The cause
of these odors originate at the Sanitary Land Fill Program on
Summer Street in Arlington, Massachusetts. Mr. Nickerson stated
that he would submit his report in which he will make definite
itecommendations that the Town of Arlington adopt and also in this
report he will state a time limit for the Town of Arlington to
eliminate this nuisance.
Mr. Nickerson also recommended that.if the Town of Arlington
does not correct or fulfill these conditions that he suggests that
the Lexington Board of Health requests a petition of a hearing
with the State Board of Public Health under Chapter 158 of the
General Laws.

Road, to keep a horse was approved by the Board. APPLICATION
A re -inspection of the Carriage House Restaurant was
approved by the Board.
