HomeMy WebLinkAbout1960-06-29431 SPECIAL MEETING BOARD OF HEALTH June 29, 1960 A Special meeting of the Lexington Board of health was held Friday June 29, 1960 at 12 o'clock nbon.atE'.the'_Battle Green Restaurant. Members present were R.L. McQuillan, Chair- man, Dr. William Cosgrove and Health Officer Mark D. Lurvey. Two sub -divisions were approved by the Board. They SUBDIVISION were Burnham Farm, Section 5 and Oak Hill Estates, Section APPROVAL 3. A report was heard from Mr. Lurvey of odors coming from SUMMER STREET the Brook which runs along the Arlington Sanitary Land Fill BROOK program on Route 2A, under Summer Street and Lowell Street and back of Busa's Farm into the Arlington Resivoir. Mr. Lurvey reported he met with Mr. Bowers, Arlington Health Officer and Mr. O'Hara, Public Works Superintendent of Arlington. Mr. Lurvey was assured that the Town of Arlington would do everything possible to relieve this situation. Mr. Lurvey reported he had been shown by Mr. Ralph Frissore ANIMAL where the stable will be erected at 172 Middleby Road. The PERMIT permit to keep horses can now be sent to Mr. Frissore. . A letter from the Board of Appeals was also read regarding CHILD CAR1 the Jewish Community Child Care Center at 1508 Massachuetts CENTER Avenue, Lexington. It was agreed that a permit from the Board could be issued. Mr. Lurvey discussed the complaints he had received 74 HILL about the horse being kept at 7(} Hill Street by Mr. Leeland STREET McConchie. Meeting was adjourned at 1:00 P.M.
