SPECIAL MEETING
June 13, 1958
A special meeting of the Board of Health was held on Friday,
June 13, 1958, at 12 noon. Chairman McQuillan, Dr. Cosgrove,
Mr. Cole, and Mr. Lurvey were present.
An application for a permit to keep horses on the property
of Mr. Robert T. Dunham, Jr., 11 Leonard Road, Lexington, was
discussed.
Due to the many objections received regarding this problem,
plus the closeness of those complaining to the stable area, plus
the nuisance of horse flies and a large accumulation of manure,
the Board voted to deny this application.

The condition of sewage facilities on Byron Avenue and Lock- Byron &
Lockwood
wood Road was also discussed, and a statement will be sent to Roads
the Board of Selectmen regarding this situation.
