HomeMy WebLinkAbout1947-12-06BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING December 6, 1947 A special meeting of the Board of Health was held in the Selectmen's Room on Saturday morning, December 6, 1947 at 11:00 a.m. This meeting was called for the purpose of officially adopting new Rules and Regulations of the Lexington Board pf Health. Mr. McQuillan and Mr. Russell were present. Referring to the rules and regulations that the Board of Health has made and caused to be pub- lished in the Lexington Minute Man on November 13, 1947 as required by Statute, a copy of Which is in- corporated into the minutes of this meeting, Mr. Russell offered the following vote: That the foregoing Regulations, designated respectively as Chapter 1 - Chapter 12 inclusive, be and hereby are adopted and that, except insofar as they are the same, they supersede all previously existing rules and regulations. Mr. McQuillan seconded the vote. Adopt New Rules and Regulations The nomination of Dr. John J. Murphy as Inspector of Animals was approved by the Department of Agriculture, Division of Livestock Control. Mr. Russell moved that Dr. Murphy be appointed as Inspector of Animals in the Town of Lexington for the unexpired term ending March 31, 1947. Mr. McQuillan seconded the motion, and it was so voted. Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr. Mc- Quillan it was voted to grant the following licenses: John Reardon & Sons. Transportation of garbage Walter F. Murphy Alcohol George F.
