June 26, 1947
A meeting of the Board of Health was held on
Thursday afternoon, June 26, 1947 at 4:00 p.m. in
the Selectmen's Room, Town Office Building.
Chairman McQuillan, Mr. Russell, Mr. Lamont,
the Health Inspector were present.
Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr.
McQuillan, the following licenses were approved:
Lawrence Farm - Pasteurization of Milk
Alice A. Frost - Boarding Home for Infants
Upon motion of Mr. Russell, seconded by Mr.
McQuillan, the following appointments were made:
Thomas S. Bowdidge (Met. State Hospital)
Special Agent to the Board of Health
John Lamont
Health and Milk Inspector
The proposed rules and regulations of the Board
of Health, approved by the State, were considered and
discussed at length. Mr. Russell felt that further
,changes were necessary and it would not be possible
to adopt the regulations at this meeting. He agreed
to take the rules and regulations home with him for
further study and recommendation.
The meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
