HomeMy WebLinkAbout1948-01-24224 a SELECTMEN'S MEETING January 24, 1948 A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held in the Selectmen's Room on Saturday morning, January 24, 1948 at 9:30 for the purpose of preparing the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting. Chairman Paxton, Messrs. Locke, Emery, and Gay were present. Mr. Daniel A. Lynch, Town Counsel, was also present. Upon motion of Mr. Locke, seconded by Mr. Emery, Town it was voted to hold the Adjourned Town Meeting on Mon- Meeting day, March 22, 1948 at 8.00 P.M. Due to the obscuring of the view caused by the heavy snow fall in December, 1947, and January, 1948, No and the resulting danger to children, upon motion duly Coasting made and seconded, it was voted that a previous vote of the Board designating Simonds Road, York Street, Highland Avenue and Locust Avenue in Lexington as streets upon which coasting is permitted, is now rescinded as of this date.
