On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed. Documents Used: Door hardware samples Door hardware document Photographs of existing conditions Catalogue print of proposed light fixture 6:05 PM 1729 Massachusetts Avenue: Diana Lu, exterior changes in the Battle Green District. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously, contingent on a more subtle color choice. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed, with a condition that the visible scada box unit be dark green in color. After much discussion, on a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alterations were continued till the next scheduled meeting date. Documents Used: Plans dated 4/5/18 1853 Massachusetts Avenue: Colin Smith, representing Abbotts Frozen Custard, exterior architectural changes in the Battle Green District. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed. Commissioner Robert Adams recused himself for this hearing. On a motion duly made and seconded, the proposed alteration was approved unanimously as proposed. Documents Used: Plans,reviewed 4/5/18 ACTION ITEMS: Communications from the public: No communications from the public at this time. Updates: • Article 45 will be going before Town Meeting in 1 week • Associate Commissioner Donna Hooper will be stepping down from her position on the HDC A vote to ratify criterion amendments to Town Meeting Article 45: Chair Eccles reviewed the proposed amendments to Town Meeting Article 45. After some discussion Commissioner Edward Adelman proposed a motion that stated in part, "The HDC moves to accept [proposed amendments to Article 45]."Motion seconded by Commissioner Paul O'Shaughnessy. All were in favor. Open Meeting Law Complaint regarding Article 45 of the 2018 Annual Town Meeting--Historic Districts Commission Ad Hoc 40C Study Committee: Chair Anne Eccles informed the Commission that a formal Open Meeting Law complaint has been filed against the Commission. Commissioner Paul O'Shaughnessy proposed a motion that stated in part, "The HDC moves to refer this complaint to town counsel."Motioned seconded by Commissioner Robert Adams.
