Ash, Superintendent; Margaret Coppe, Chair; Alessandro Alessandrini, Jessie Steigerwald, Judy Crocker and Mary Ann Stewart The minutes were taken by Margaret Coppe, Chair The Meeting convened at 6:30 p.m. I. Call to Order and Welcome The Chair called the meeting to order and invited public comment. There was not public comment. II. Agenda Positions were taken on the following Town Meeting Warrant articles: • Mary Ann Stewart moved, and Jessie Steigerwald seconded supporting Article 8 Community Preservation Committee Operating Budget and CPA Projects h) Lincoln Park Field Improvements i) Park and Playground Improvements j) Park Improvements—Athletic Fields k) Park Improvements The vote was unanimous (5-0). Jessie Steigerwald will speak to the article. • Mary Ann Stewart moved, and Jessie Steigerwald seconded supporting Article 13 Appropriate for School Capital Projects and Equipment The vote was unanimous (5-0). Alessandro Alessandrini will speak to the article. • Jessie Steigerwald moved, and Judy Crocker seconded supporting Article 14 Appropriate for Public Facilities Capital Projects a) School building Envelope and Systems b) LHS Heating Systems upgrade d) Repairs/Replacements/Upgrades e) School Paving Program h) Middle School Science/Performing Arts and General Education System i) Clarke School Elevator Upgrade j) Clarke School Auditorium Audio Visual System The vote was unanimous (5-0). Mary Ann Stewart will speak to the article. • Alessandro Alessandrini moved, and Mary Ann Stewart seconded, supporting Article 17, as amended, Establish and Appropriate to and from Specified Stabilization Funds The vote was unanimous (5-0). Judy Crocker will speak to the article • Mary Ann Stewart moved, and Judy Crocker seconded, supporting Article 19 Appropriate From Debt Stabilization Fund Vote was 4-0-1 (Alessandrini). Margaret Coppe will speak to the article. IV. The School Committee will remain in session and relocate to Battin Hall for the purpose of discussing Annual Town Meeting Articles. V. Adjourn A motion was made and seconded. The meeting adjourned. The next meeting of the School Committee is scheduled for Monday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. in the Cary Memorial Building, Estabrook Hall, 1605 Massachusetts Avenue.
