LEXINGTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING

Present: Dr. Paul Ash, Superintendent, Margaret Coppe, School Committee Chair; Alessandro
Alessandrini, Vice Chair; Members Bonnie Brodner, Jessie Steigerwald and Mary Ann
Stewart.
The Minutes were taken by Margaret Coppe, Chair.
The Meeting convened at 7:20 p.m.
Agenda
Discuss and Vote the School Committee’s Position on Special Town Meeting Article 5,
Estabrook School Access Improvements.
Committee members asked questions about need for School Committee action, input of
Estabrook principal, and specifics of plan.
Motion
Motion to support passage of Article 5, Estabrook School Access Improvements at 2013 Special
Town Meeting. (Brodner, Alessandrini) The Motion passed 4-0-1 (Steigerwald).
Motion
Motion to recess to the floor of Town Meeting, to adjourn at the end of the night’s session.
(Alessandrini, Steigerwald) The Motion passed 5-0.
Motion
Jessie Steigerwald moved to change her vote of abstaining on Article 5 and to vote in favor.
Alessandro Alessandrini seconded. Vote was unanimous (5-0).
Motion to Adjourn (Alessandrini, Steigerwald) The Motion was Approved (5-0)
The Meeting Adjourned at 11:20 PM
