LEXINGTON SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING
Central Office, Upper Level Conference Room 1

Minutes were taken by the Chair.
Present: School Committee Chair Mary Ann Stewart,
Vice-Chair Alessandro Alessandrini, School Committee Members Bonnie Brodner,
Margaret Coppe, and Jessie Steigerwald.
Dr. Paul Ash, Superintendent, Mr. Robert Harris, Assistant Superintendent for
Human Resources, and Carl Valente, Town Manager, were also in attendance.
The Meeting was convened at 5:07 PM.
I. Call to Order
The Chair called the Meeting of the Lexington School Committee to order.
Motion to go into Executive Session to discuss strategy with regard to
collective bargaining with LEA/Unit-A personnel and to reconvene in open
session only to adjourn. Further, that as Chair, I declare that an open
meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining efforts of the
Lexington Public Schools (Stewart, Brodner).

The meeting went into executive session at 5:10 PM.

Motion to Adjourn was moved by Bonnie Brodner and seconded by
Alessandro Alessandrini.
