Minutes of the Executive Session of the Lexington School Committee
Ellen Stone Room, Isaac Cary Memorial Hall

Present: School Committee Chair Mary Ann Stewart, School Committee Members
Sandro Alessandrini, Bonnie Brodner, Margaret Coppe, and Jessie Steigerwald.
Student representative, Noah Collidge was absent.
Mr. Robert Fraser and Ms. Colby Brunt, School Committee Counsel from
Stoneman, Chandler, and Miller, LLP and Mr. Kevin Batt, Town Counsel from
Anderson Kreiger, LLP attended the Executive Session.
Ms. Brunt left the Ellen Stone Room at 7:30 PM to inform the audience in the
Auditorium that the Committee would likely return to Open Session between 7:45-
8:00 PM; she returned at 7:32 PM.
The Minutes of the Executive Session were taken by School Committee Chair Mary
Ann Stewart.
Discussion: Mr. Fraser reviewed actions taken since the Open Meeting Law Complaints
were received from Mr. Eric Eid-Reiner and Ms. Dawn McKenna. He briefed the
Committee on Mr. Eid-Reiner’s Complaint. A number of issues have been raised in his
complaint and will be addressed in the report to the Attorney General’s Office. There
were questions from Members of the Committee.
Mr. Batt briefed the Committee on Ms. McKenna’s Complaint. There are several
overlapping areas from Mr. Eid-Reiner’s Complaint. The issues raised will be addressed
in the report to the Attorney General’s Office. Members of the Committee had questions
for Counsel.
Motion to adjourn, (Coppe, Alessandrini). Alessandrini-aye; Brodner-aye; Coppe-
aye; Steigerwald-aye; and Stewart-aye.
The meeting adjourned at 7:53 PM.
