Present were: School Committee Chair Helen Cohen, School Committee Members
Margaret Coppe, Vice Chair; Tom Diaz; and Rod Cole. Others in attendance were
Superintendent of Schools Paul Ash, Assistant Superintendent for Human
Resources Robert Harris, and Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Business
Mary Ellen Dunn
The meeting was called to order by the chair at 6:15 p.m. as part of the final summit
budget meeting with the Board of Selectmen, the Appropriation Committee, and the
Capital Expenditures Committee.
The Committee re-voted the bottom line number of the budget with a small change from
the vote at the meeting on February 24, 2009.
MOTION: To approve the FY10 School Budget of $66,958,293. (Diaz, Coppe)
The motion passed 4-0.
At 7:00 p.m. it was moved that the School Committee go into Executive Session for
the purpose of discussing labor negotiations. (Diaz, Coppe)
