HomeMy WebLinkAbout897.31 Letter, Henry W. B. Cotton to the Lexington Selectmen concerning removal of walls from a farm on Middle Street, June 16, 1896 Boston June 16, I896.
To the Selectmen of Lexington :-
About two Months ago I notified you personally of
the Condition of the pasture of my farm on Middle Street as
left by you. that my tenant could not put his cows & horse
therein, because you had taken down the walls: and was obliged
to let them graze on the .mowing : Yuu then promised to fix
the fences at once.
Do you intend to do so at all?
t.
I request an immediate answer.
It strik&S :ire that my tenant has a good ground for complaint
in the damage to his mowing land because he has been deprived
of his pasture by your negligence
and dilatoriness.
Yours
