Lexington, Greeting
You are hereby required in the name of the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts to notify & warn the inhabitants
of the town of Lexington, who are qualified to vote
in the choice of Representatives to the General Court,
to assemble at the Meeting house in said town on
Monday the seventh day of May next at one oclock
P. M. to give in their votes for Representatives to
represent them in the next General Court of this
Commonwealth to be holden at Boston on the last
Wednesday of May next. And at two oclock to act on
the following articles
Art. 1. To choose a Moderator.
Art. 2. To grant money to defray town charges the ensuing
year.
Art. 3. To know if the town will allow Daniel
Cummings to pay his school tax to the town of Bedford
4. To know if the town will repair the Scoolhouse in the
centre district, or build a new one therein.
Art. 5. To hear reports of committees & act thereon.
Hereon fail not & make return of this warrant
and of your doings therein on or before the time
prefixed.
Given under our hands at Lexington this
second day of April A. D. 1827.
