Your Petitioners, the undersigned.
being legal voters and tax payers in
said Town respectfully request you
to call a Town meeting at your
earliest convenience. for the purpose
of taking action upon the matter
of rescinding or reconsidering the
former vote of the town whereby
the town voted at its last annual
meeting to release Eli Simonds from
certain obligations and indemnify him
on certain losses an account of building
a certain road in said town.
And also for the transaction of such
other business as may as may be
deemed proper -.
