HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009.11.02 BOS-ES-min- Released ES6-402 EXECUTIVE SESSION November 2, 2009 PRESENT: Chairman Cohen, Mrs. Krieger, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Manz and Mr. Burnell; Mr. Valente, Town Manager and Ms. Chabot Assistant to the Executive Clerk. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted5-0 by roll call to go into executive session to discuss matters relating to the sale of real property, with no intent to return to open session. LexHAB Mr. Hays, Chairman of the Lexington Housing Assistance Board, presented the request for approval of the acquisition and financing of 454 Marrett Road and Emerson Gardens Condominium Unit #142. 454 Marrett Road Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by roll call 5-0 to approve the acquisition by the Lexington Housing Assistance Board, Inc. (LexHAB) of 454 Marrett Road, Lexington, Massachusetts as further described in a deed recorded at Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, Book 1298, Page 82, see Certificate #233536. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by roll call 5-0 to approve thefinancing of said acquisition with a first mortgage loan from Patriot Community Bank. Unit #142 in Emerson Gardens Condominium Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by roll call 5-0 to approve the acquisition by the Lexington Housing Assistance Board, Inc. (LexHAB) of Unit #142 in Emerson Gardens Condominium, see Master Deed recorded at Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, Book 17684, Page 575, which unit is further described in a deed recorded at Middlesex South Registry of Deeds, Book 35796, Page 54. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted by roll call 5-0 to approve the financing of said acquisition with a first mortgage loan from Patriot Community Bank. Mr. Hays left the meeting. Munroe School Mr. Valente discussedthe Evaluationof the Proposal for the Sale of the Munroe School. In addition, an alternative to the Munroe Center’s draft language on the Town’s option to repurchase the property was discussed.
