HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009.04.29 BOS-ES-min- Released ES6-388 Executive Session April 29, 2009 PRESENT: Chairman Cohen, Mrs. Krieger, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Manz and Mr. Burnell; Mr. Valente, Town Manager; and Ms. Chabot, Assistant to the Executive Clerk, were present. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5-0 to go into executive session to discuss the disposition of real estate, with no intent to return to open session. Busa Land Purchase Mr. Valente and Mr. Kelley updated the Board on the Town’s counter proposal to purchase the Busa Farm property. The Board discussed where the funding would come from (CPA fundsvia a bond). The Selectmen and the Recreation Department would bringforth the application to the Community Preservation Committee for CPA funds. The Board is in favor of purchasing the property based on the proposal. Munroe School The consensus of the Board was to indefinitely postpone Article 5 –Munroe School Disposition. There will be a report that the Board intends to issue an RFP for disposition of the land and bring the article back to Town Meeting in the fall. Patriot Partners Mr. Valente presented the Board with a draft Memorandum of Understanding between Patriot Partners Lexington LLC and the Town of Lexington. He asked for the Board’s guidance on what they were comfortable with and what they would like changed.
