EXECUTIVE SESSION
January 5, 2009
PRESENT: Chairman Cohen, Mrs. Krieger, Mr. Kelley, Mr. Manz and Mr. Burnell; Mr.
Valente, Town Manager; and Ms. Pease, Executive Clerk, were present.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted 5-0 by roll callvote to go into executive
session to discuss a potential criminal misconduct matter, with no intentto return to open
session.
Mr. Valente updated the Selectmen on the investigation being done at the Police Department
regarding the recording of work hours. The District Attorney’s office has indicated they want to
take over the criminal investigation. The auditors have completed 95% of their investigation
work. Mr. Valente will be meeting with the District Attorney and the Public Corruption Unit
after January 12.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was voted to adjourn at 10:50 p.m.
