HomeMy WebLinkAbout720 Tax report (copy) by the Assessors, June 20, 1823Pursuant to sundry votes of the inhabitants
of the town of Lexington whereby they granted
the sum of one thousand seven hundred &
eighty-seven dollars for defraying the necessary
expences of the current year, we have
assessed the polls & estates of said town the
aforesaid sum, of $1787.00
likewise a swell in the
State tax of 9.18
A swell in the town &
County tax of 17.33
And a deficiency in the highway
tax for 1822 of 22.02
___
[total] $1835.53
And have comitted a list thereof to Mr. John
Muzzey jr Collector for said town, with
a warrant in due form of law for collecting & received
in the name as treasurer.
In witness whereof we have
hereunto set our hand
at Lexington this 20th
day of June 1823
