To the Honorable the County Commissioners of the County of Middlesex. Respectfully represent your petitioners inhabitants of the town of Lexington in said County, that the road laid out by your board by decree dated the twenty-fourth day of August, 1897, said road being in the town of Lexington and extending from the Bedford and Billerica Branch of the Boston and Lowell Railroad to Bedford street near the estate now or formerly of Patrick Ryan, is in need of altera- tions in its course, and should be relocated. Wherefore we pray that you will cause said way be relocated. Edwin S. Spaulding and six others. A true copy, Attest, B.S. Tolman Deputy Sheriff. COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS Middlesex, ss. At a meeting of the County Commissioners for the County of Middlesex, at Cambridge, in said County, on the first Tuesday of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-nine, to wit, by adjournment at said Cambridge on the twentieth day of June A.D. 1899. On the foregoing petition, Ordered, that the Sheriff of said County, or his Deputy, give notice to all persons and corporations interested therein, that said Commissioners will meet for the purpose of viewing the premises and hearing the parties at the Town Hall in Lexington, in said County, on Friday, the twenty-first day of July next, at ten o'clock in the forenoon by serving the Clerk of the Town of Lexington with a copy of said petition and of this order thereon, thirty days at least before said view, and by publishing the same in the Lexington Minute Men a newspaper printed at said Lexington, three weeks successively, the last publication to be fourteen days at least before said view, and also by posting the same in two public places in the said Town of Lexington fourteen days before said view; and that he make return of his doings herein, to said Commissioners, at the time and place fixed for said view and hearing.
