Greeting.
You are hereby required, in the name of the Commonwealth
of Massachusetts, to make your appearance before a court of
probate to be holden at Woburn within and for the county of Middlesex,
on the fourth Tuesday of April instant at 10 o'clock A.M.
to give evidence you know relating to a complaint
of the Selectmen of Lexington then and there heard
and tried betwixt said Selectmen Complainants
and Eben Pierce Defendant
Here of fail not, as you will answer your default
under the pains and penalty in the law in that behalf made
and provide provided. --Dated at Lexington thenineteeth day of
April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
twenty six
