HomeMy WebLinkAbout718 Appraisal of a stray cow, July 15, 1823To William Chandler and Nathan Chandler Jr [Junior] two disinterested and Judicious persons both of Lexington Greeting You are hereby appointed and impowered to appraise upon oath at the true value thereof in money according to your best Judgement a Cow taken up by Oliver Winship of Lexington on the first day of June Eighteen hundred & twenty three who has entered & passed and cried this same as the law directs. And you are to make return of this warrant, and your doings thereon, into the town Clerks Office of said Lexington within seven days from the date hereof Given under my hand and seal this fifteenth day of July in the year of our lord One thousand eight hundred & twenty three Nathan Chandler Justice Peace. Middlesex Ss July 15 1823 The above named William Chandler & Nathan Chandler Jr personally appeared and made oath that they would faithfully appraise the cow therein named according to their best skill and Judgement Before me Nathan Chandler Justice Peace.
