HomeMy WebLinkAbout643 Appraisal of a stray cow, December 7, 1813Middlesex Ss To Nathan Russell [and] [blank space] both of Lexington in said County, two distinterested and Juditious persons by Virtue of the power and Authority to me given, in & by a law of the Commonwealth entitled "an act respecting lost goods and stray beasts" I do hereby appoint you to appraise upon oath at the true value thereof in money acording to your best skill and Judgement a pale red cow, taken up by Moses Harrington of said Lexington - having performed this service you are to make return of this Warrant into the Town Clerk's office of said Lexington seven days from the date hereof. Given under my hand and seal at Lexington the third day of December A.D. one thousand eight hundred and twelve. John Mulliken Just Peace Middlesex Ss Dec m 7th 1813 When the above named Nathan Russell Nathl Mulliken appeared and made solumn oath that they would faithfully & impartially perform the service to which they are appointed by the above warrant.
