Summary
• No Bas powered leaf blowers between June 15th and September 15th
• May be used Mondays to Fridays 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sat. 8:OOam to 4 pm before JunlSth
and after September 15th. Prohibited on Sundays and legal holidays.
• Limited to one leaf blower on lots of< 6000 sf, one additional per 6000 sf.
• No more than 30 minutes at a time with shut down time of 15 minutes.
• Use limited to "vertically extended lines of the property'.
• 74dB(A) limit.
• $200 fine.

Summary
• May be used Mondays to Fridays 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and weekends and holiday 9:OOam to
8:00 pm
• Leaf blowers limited to 65 dB(A)
• List of acceptable leaf blowers is provided
• Town will test a leaf blower,for a nominal fee, and certify it if it meets the requirements
• $50 fine first offense, $100 second, $200 third and beyond to be paid by homeowner.
• Section 8.15.6(f) has the full requirements
