Valente, Town Manager 1.1 SUMMARY: No vote is requested for this agenda item. This item came up unexpectedly on Friday, November 17. MassDOT would like to proceed next week with this pole relocation, as Verizon and Eversource are scheduled to relocate 6 other poles as part of the Mass. Ave. reconstruction project. At the 10/30/17 Board of Selectmen meeting, the Marrett Road portion of the Pole Relocation Petition was tabled until November 6 to allow time for Verizon and MassDOT to verify that the proposed pole relocation will not encroach on private property and that the sidewalk space will meet ADA requirements. On 10/18/17 MassDOT/Verizon performed a site visit and identified the area to relocate the pole to meet ADA, DPW and the abutter's concerns.
