HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-03-02-2020-min Town of Lexington 20/20 Vision Committee Meeting March 2,2018 Parker Room,Town Office Building 1625 Massachusetts Avenue 7:45 a.m.—9:00 a.m. Members Present: Peter Enrich, Dan Krupka, Andrew Dixon,Joe Pato, Margaret Coppe,, Mark Manasas, Alan Wrigley, Peter Lee, Fernando Quezada Members Absent: Bhumip Khasnabish, Kathleen Lenihan, Carroll Ann Bottino, Ginna Johnson Visitor(s): Candy McLaughlin The meeting was called to order at 7:47 a.m. Minutes for January 26, 2018 were approved The meeting was primarily devoted to ■ Reviewing and providing recommendations on the E-Governance/E-Government Communication Project Proposal presented by Mark Manassas from the Town Wide Communication Scoping Group ■ Starting initial discussions for the Observance of January 2020 ■ Updates on the Long Ranging Planning Process From discussions,we formulated the following decisions and action items: Decisions ■ Motion was properly seconded and approved at 8:25 a.m. to approve the 20/20 Vision Committee Communication Project Proposal as it now stands. ■ Look into community listservs and reach out to various interest groups for participation in potential community forums. Action Items ■ Mark and Candy will recruit more members to the scoping group to develop a Taskforce from the findings of the Scoping Group Proposal. One potential candidate for the Taskforce was Harry Forsdick. ■ Fernando will look into some additional ideas on the Long Range Planning Process. ■ Mark will work with Candy to go through the 20/20 website to obtain feedback Next Meeting Friday, March 30, 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room Subsequent Meetings ■ Friday,April 27, at 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room ■ Friday, May 25, at 7:45 a.m. in the Parker Room Meeting was adjourned at 8:43 a.m. Minutes submitted by Rajon Hudson
