Ad Hoc 40C Study Committee

Committee Members Present: Anne Eccles, Chair; Susan Bennett and Marilyn Fenollosa
Committee Members Absent: Dan Fenn, Lester Savage
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Ms. Eccles. Ms. Eccles reported that Mr. Fenn
was unable to attend due to illness and Mr. Savage was out of town. She then opened the public
hearing.
1. Presentation of Proposed Amendments to Chapter 447. Ms. Eccles gave a
PowerPoint presentation of the proposed amendments.
2. Question and Answer Session. Ms. Eccles then asked for questions and comments
from the audience. Several issues were discussed: the definition of" person aggrieved "
the nominating bodies for commission members notice provisions, the enforcement
language. The consensus of the public was that the changes being proposed were
appropriate, with the exception of slight changes to the enforcement provisions to
conform to the Ch. 40 language.
3. Adjournment. The public hearing was closed and the meeting was adjourned at 8:00.
