Ad Hoc 40C Study Committee

Committee Members Present: Anne Eccles, Chair; Susan Bennett, Marilyn Fenollosa and
Lester Savage.
Committee Members Absent: Dan Fenn
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm by Ms. Eccles. Ms. Eccles reported that Mr. Fenn
was again unable to attend due to illness.
1. Vote on Warrant Article. Ms. Fenollosa distributed copies of a proposed text of
warrant article for town meeting. The Committee suggested several changes and a
motion was moved, seconded and unanimously approved to accept the warrant article as
amended.
2. Vote on Proposed Amendments to Chapter 447. Ms. Fenollosa distributed copies of a
proposed text of amendments to be presented to town meeting. The Committee
suggested several changes and a motion was moved, seconded and unanimously
approved to accept the proposed amendments as amended.
3. Public Hearing. It was agreed that the Committee would hold a public hearing on
March 8 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. to discuss the proposed amendments.
4. Appearance before Board of Selectman. Ms. Eccles announced that she would be
presenting the proposed amendments to the Board of Selectmen on Wednesday, March 7,
at 7:00.
5. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 3:50.
