Ad Hoc 40C Study Committee

Committee Members Present: Anne Eccles, Chair; Susan Bennett, Marilyn Fenollosa and
Lester Savage.
Committee Members Absent: Dan Fenn
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 pm by Ms. Eccles. Ms. Eccles reported that Mr. Fenn
was again unable to attend due to illness.
1. Reports on Interviews. Ms. Bennett reported on her interview with the Bedford HDC.
She said that the interviewee stressed that it was critical for a Special Act community to
continue to update its legislation.
2. Distribution of Issues memorandum. Ms. Eccles distributed a memorandum entitled
"Guiding Goals of Special Act Amendment" stating various issues to be addressed. Each
item was discussed and Ms. Fenollosa agreed to prepare an initial draft of amendment for
review at the next meeting reflecting the Committee's comments.
3. Next Meeting. The next meeting of the Committee was set for Friday, February 9 at
2:00 in the Parker Room.
4. Adjournment. The meeting was adjourned at 3:30.
