Sustainable Lexington Committee
Minutes of Meeting of March 7, 2017
A meeting of the Sustainable Lexington Committee (SLC)was held on March 7, 2017 at
the Town Office Building. A quorum of four was present.
Members Present: Mark Sandeen, Marcia Gens, Todd Rhodes, Rick Reibstein
Members Absent: Dan Voss
Other Attendees: Joe Pato (Board of Selectmen)
The meeting was called to order at 6:10 pm.
Better Buildings (M. Sandeen)
The meeting focused on a discussion of the Sustainable Building Policy.
• Carl Valente has requested a building policy for upcoming building projects.
• Pat Goddard prepared a new draft policy for review. This policy differs from the
version of the policy that the Sustainable Lexington Committee provided to the Mr.
Goddard and the Permanent Building Committee.
• The committee voted unanimously to support the Sustainable Design Policy (Draft 3
as amended) and present the policy to the BOS for their review and approval.
