The meeting was called to order at 10:02 AM. A quorum was present. Chair Jeri Zeder read the script for
remotely conducted open meetings.
Members voted unanimously: Coppe Aye; Cohen Aye, Joyner, Aye, Quezada, Aye; Zeder Aye.
Jeri Zeder moved and Marian Cohen moved approval of the May 23, 2025 and June 27, 2025 minutes.
Coppe Aye; Cohen Aye, Quezada, Aye; Zeder Aye, Joyner, Abstain.
The vote was unanimous.
Discussion Final Draft
New Report Title: Our Vote, Our Community
Page 3 Line 29, add quotes to word “stingy”
Page 49 Bullet 1, substitute word “Provide” for “Introduce”
Page 49 Bullet 3, substitute “Create” for “Make possible”
Page 49, Bullet 4, substitute “Support the Town Clerk in consulting with for” Enable the Town Clerk to
consult”
Page 49, Bullet 5, change “paid volunteer” (can volunteers be paid?) to make clear that there is funding needed
to pay those citizens who work elections and are paid.
Page 35, Line 8, add word “who” after poll workers.
Page 43, Line 24, delete “the”
Page 48, Line 19, correct spelling of “Lexpress’
Add acknowledgement for help of Town Clerk after the Executive Summary.
Jeri moved and Marian seconded, approving the proposed report as amended as the final report for submission
to the Vision for Lexington committee.
