Long Range Playground and Ballfield Plan - Maggie brought to the committees attention the play areas that have not had recent updates. They include Ivan/Justin, Valleyfield, Sutherland, Oxford Street and Baskin. She also shared the need for new backstops at school based little league fields. The discussion was postponed till February's meeting so that Brian may have input. Lexington Golf League Proposal - The committee was in favor of offering the open Friday Night League spot to the citizens group that attended the November meeting, and to develop a reservation card system so that Lexington residents can make reservations prior to non- residents. Rick and Paul will talk to Dick Baker and the citizens group and report back to the committee next month. Renaming Center 1 - Rick will pick out the stone for Matt Santosuossos' plaque and will plan a May dedication ceremony with the Santosucsso family. Maggie's Report - Maggie reported that the orders of condition regarding the "Old Res" weed prpbfem has been returned with three concerns: that we do not use the chemical during a rainy period; that we draw down the water level so that limited chemicals go downstream; and that we review downstream for effects on vegetation. The Youth Lacrosse Association will begin play this Spring with 2 teams. Other Business - Don asked Pam if she would take on the role that Harvey played in keeping on top of ADA issues.
