Eddison, Chairman DATE: June 17, 1985 Board of Selectmen FROM: Peter Chalpin, Chairma• SUBJECT: Traffic Committee Traffic Safety Committ-e ) Lillian Road Traffic Ms. Payne At its Meeting of June 11, 1985, the Traffic Safety Committee discussed the request from Debra F. Payne for "Slow Children" signs and a 25 MPH posted speed limit on Lillian Road. Ms. Payne did not attend. Under the Fundamental Speed Law, the speed limit is currently 30 MPH. The Committee feels this is appropriate and recommends against any change. We also recommend continued enforcement of the existing speed limit. Further, we recommend installation of two "Caution Children" signs and consideration of sidewalk construction during the upcoming budget process. Those in attendance: Peter M.
