At its Meeting of June 11, 1985, the Traffic Safety Committee discussed the request
from Debra F. Payne for "Slow Children" signs and a 25 MPH posted speed limit on
Lillian Road. Ms. Payne did not attend.
Under the Fundamental Speed Law, the speed limit is currently 30 MPH. The Committee
feels this is appropriate and recommends against any change. We also recommend
continued enforcement of the existing speed limit.
Further, we recommend installation of two "Caution Children" signs and consideration
of sidewalk construction during the upcoming budget process.
