Traffic Committee Ngej Mr. Rooney
I have reviewed the request from Mr. Thomas P. Rooney for a "Stop" sign and striping
on Harrington Road at Hancock Street. This item was received after the post.ng of
the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee's February 25, 19B7, Agenda, and since I do
not anticipate our next meeting will be until late March, I am taking the liberty of
acting on behalf of the Committee to e pedite the matter.
I find Mr. Rooney's observations to be correct, and his suggestions to be approp-
riate. I recommend both a "Stop" sign at Hancock Street and a double yellow center-
line from Bedford Street to Hancock Street. My e periences with the Committee
assure me that the balance of the members would agree, unanimously.
I have enclosed the necessary documentation for you to present this matter to the
Board at their net meeting should you concur with my act,on
