At its meeting of 9/18/72., The Traffic Committee discussed `r .
Magnuson letter regarding traffic on Hancock Street . Afte» / e
reviewing the three "Viable Control Measures" presented therlir_,
we rake the following comments regarding each:
Item A. The arrangement of stop signs proposed b-. ,yrs. --_agn ;spn is
in direct contradiction with The Massaci-_-:setts Depfrit-ment
of P;�blic Works, Traffic Engineering Division, Insti4uction.
Bulletin No II-A. (see enclosure) As stated in this bulletin,
stop signs are ". . . not intended , nor should. . . be employed . . .
