The Police Dept. and the Principal of the Franklin School have studied problems
and hazards which arise from the present traffic pattern and involve several
points of conflict between vehicular and pedestrian traffic to the school. As
a result of these studies, recommendations were made by Capt. Lima to the Traffic
Committee and considered and approved by the Committee. These recommendations in-
clude both internal traffic pattern changes on school property, which can be
instituted by school authorities, and amendments to the Traffic Rules regarding
"No Parking" restrictions submitted herewith.
The Traffic Committee recommends that the enclosed amendments to "Traffic Rules"
be considered and approved by the Board of Selectmen. Capt. Lima's report is
enclosed for your information.
