McSweeney, Chairman SUBJECTParking Traffic Safety Committee Lexington Savings Bank At its meeting of 4/16/74, the Traffic Safety Committee discussed Mr. Duncan's letter regarding parking conditions behind the Lexington Savings Bank. The Committee recognizes the truck problem within this parking lot. However, an important point to note is that these trucks have the right to load and unload on the public way without being in violation of double parking regulations. Bearing this in mind, should we exclude them from this lot, they will go directly to Waltham Street, which we feel should not occur. In response to Mr. Duncan's reference to meter violations, the Committee would like to assure the Board that strict, on-going enforcement of the meters has been and will continue to be, an important part of the duties of the Police Officers in Lexington Center.
