Brown, Town Administrator > Bedford Town Hall Bedford, NA 01730 Dear Mr. Brown The Traffic Safety Committee of the Town of Lexington has reviewed your request for permission to allow trucks detoured from AshbyPtalsh Roads to use Lexington Streets, specifically Bedford Street, Hartwell Avenue and Maguire Road as an alternate route Yhile we realize that ly trucking on residential streets is not an ideal situation, we also feel that the current traffic characteristics of those Lexington streets men- tioned are such that we cannot allow additional truck traffic to be dir- ected to them. As you know, these streets are currently utilized far beyond their respective capacities, and we feel that additional truck traffic will onlyaggravate this situation. It is therefore our position _,q to be opposed to this as an alternate route and must de y the request. ( Ver, truly o rs, if -. ( ,,c. l ( !• r ` 0 John J .
