Chalpin, Chairman SUBJECT: Worthen Road/Baskin Road Traffic Safety Advisory Comm, No Parking At its meeting of December 7, 1988, the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee met with Mr. Clarence Kemper to discuss parking on Worthen Road and Baskin Road. Mr. Maclnnes and Mr. Waring also attended. It is the Committee's recommendation that "No Parking" be posted from twenty feet north of Baskin Road, to Waltham Street, on the westerly side of Worthen Road. While we make this recommendation, we also feel strongly that the high school should make every effort to accommodate the parking needs of its students within school grounds. The School Department, we understand, has reduced the parking permit fee from $25 to $10 for students. Depending on the vacancy rate in the high school lot and the number of vehicles parked on Worthen Road, the Department might consider eliminating the fee to reduce the usage of Worthen Road Those in Attendance: Peter M.
