Chalpin, Chairma SUBJECT: Tyler Road at Traffic Safety Advisory Com i ., ee Winchester Drive At its meeting of September 13, 1989, the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee dis- cussed a concern brought forth by the Lexington Police Department about sight dis- tance on Tyler Road at both of its intersections with Winchester Drive The sight distance deficiency is created by shrubs in front of #6 and #34 Winchester Drive. The enclosed sketch shows that these shrubs are on the Town's right-of-way, Close to the edge of the roadway. The Committee believes that trimming is not sufficient at either of these locations and recommends that the shrubs be removed from the right-of-way. I have contacted both homeowners, met with them, and the Park and Tree Superinten- dent, and reached agreement with all parties on having the shrubs removed and the trees trimmed by the Town Those in Attendance: Peter M Chalpin Dr. Clarke Capt.
