Chalpin, Chai ' an / SUBJECT: Adams Street - Trucks Traffic Safety Advisory , .411ee At its meeting of June 28, 1989, the Traffic Safety Committee met with Mrs. Gloria Bacigalupo to discuss a request for a heavy truck exclusion on Adams Street. This issue was addressed previously in 1983, but we were unable to obtain a State Permit at that time because an accommodation with the Town of Burlington could not be reached. The past notwithstanding, the Committee believes that Adams Street is unsuitable for use by through truck traffic, and we recommend that the Town re-apply to the State for a permit. Enclosed are the State's latest requirements. Please note Items *1 through *3 at the top of page 9. We cannot satisfy *1 or *2, and it is suggested that the Town attempt to satisfy *3, i.e. obtain Burlington's approval, before we undertake the necessary volume study. Those in attendance: Peter M.
