Chalpin, Chairdan SUBJECT: Pleasant Street/Mass. Traffic Safety Committ:e 4i . Avenue At its meeting of October 10, 1990, the TSAC discussed a request for traffic signals at Pleasant Street and Massachusetts Avenue. Mr. John Jayne was unable to attend. The Committee has deferred making any recommendation at this time, and requests that the Engineering Division gather the data necessary to analyze traffic signal warrant compliance at the intersection. This analysis will be compared to that done in 1986, and the Committee will then formulate a recommendation. While discussing this matter, we touched on the backups now taking place at Waltham Street and Marrett Road during the evening peak hours. The Committee recommends that Massachusetts D.P.W. be requested to investigate timing adjustments in the signals to try to lessen the backups. Those in attendance Peter M.
