Transportation Advisory Committee
Town of Lexington, Massachusetts
Location: Parker Room, Town Office Building, Lexington, and pursuant to tI ,� ,01p.L...,,l , ii,lrna
L Jnr, the meeting was held remotely by Zoom teleconferencing session open to the public
following.g on June 28, 2023.
Scheduled time: 7:30 pm
Members Present: Kunal Botla (chair) Pamela Lyons (vice -chair), Nishanth Veeragandham
(secretary), Sally Castleman, Mark Andersen, James Luker.
A quorum was present throughout the meeting. All votes were taken by a roll call vote.
Liaisons present: Vinita Kumar (Select Board), Sebastian Fairbairn (Lexington High School,
left at 7:47pm)
Members/Liaisons absent: Susan Barrett (Transportation Manager)
Minutes: A note was made by Ms. Castleman that minutes should incorporate motion
statements to help record what each vote held by the committee entails.
Mr. Botla moved to "Approve the February 25th meetings", which passed unanimously
Mr. Botla moved to "Approve the March 11th meetings", which passed, with one abstention from
Mark Anderson and the rest of the present committee voting yes.
Mr. Botla moved to "Approve the March 17th meetings", which passed unanimously
Discuss and Consider Comments for Any Applications Submitted to the Planning Board
or Board of Appeal and Policies Related to Planning/Zoning/Town Code:
952 Waltham St.:
The committee reviewed plans for the 952 Waltham St development.
Several members of the committee expressed that we should request the standard contribution
to the TDM fund. However Mr. Botla and Ms. Lyons noted that there wasn't a significant amount
of change that the committee would be able to suggest the developer take on.
Mr. Botla moved that the committee " replace with the text from what is proposed" this
motion passed unanimously

Kunal moved to approve these comments and submit them to the planning board, these
comments were approved with every committee member voting yes besides mark andersen.
Minuteman:
Mr. Botla moved to approve the statement to be sent to the superintendent of the minuteman
technical high school.
RLX:
Mr. Botla presented a variety of movements that positioned the advocacy from the "extend the
red line" advocacy group.
No formal vote was held.
Council on Aging, Sudhir:
- Director of senior services - michelle- said that there was an event where there was an
aging in place resource fair in the lexington center and the event is designed for senior
citizens to be able to live in their home ofr as long as possible
- There was a public comment that addressed the lack of transportation study for the lack
of curb to curb service for town services.
Select Board, Vinita Kumar:
- No updates are present
Mr. Botla had received the slides from the TSG school building forum.
Mr. Botla moved to adjourn at 9:04PM, which was unanimously approved.
The Transportation Advisory Committee Moved to Adjourn on April 15th 2025 at 9:05 PM.
